These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Akasha app and MyAkashaAlly.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Akasha ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 17 years old to use Akasha. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
Akasha's responses are generated by artificial intelligence, not a human, and are not reviewed in real time before they reach you. Akasha is designed to be supportive and conversational, but it is not a licensed therapist, doctor, financial advisor, or lawyer, and nothing Akasha says should be treated as medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. AI-generated responses can be inaccurate or inappropriate; use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional for anything serious. If you're in crisis or facing an emergency, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline rather than relying on the app.
You agree not to: use Akasha to generate content that is illegal, abusive, or intended to harm yourself or others; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service; use the Service to harass, impersonate, or exploit anyone, including minors; or use automated means to access the Service outside of the app itself. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You can report a message or response that seems inappropriate, harmful, or incorrect directly from the chat screen. We review reports to improve Akasha's safety and quality.
Akasha offers a free tier with limited usage, an optional Akasha Plus subscription, and optional one-time "Spark" purchases for additional usage. All purchases are billed and processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device, and are subject to their respective terms, refund policies, and payment methods — we don't process payment card details ourselves. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple or Google account settings before the renewal date. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.
You retain ownership of the messages and any content (like an uploaded photo for avatar creation) you provide to Akasha. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process that content as needed to operate the Service — for example, sending your messages to our AI provider to generate a reply, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from the app's settings. Deletion is final and cannot be undone.
If you participate in the Akasha affiliate program, your participation is also governed by the terms presented during the application process, including how referrals are tracked, when commissions mature, and how payouts are made.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that Akasha's responses will always be accurate, available without interruption, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akasha and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any AI-generated response.
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
